Nairobi Serena Hotel : Chef Arnaud Faye was in the country on Thursday as the visiting chef for ‘A Taste of France in the City’ event.

Hosted by Nairobi Serena’s Mandhari Restaurant, Arnaud Faye is a Michelin starred-chef from Auberge Du Jeu de Paume, Chantily, France.

To qualify for this prestigious title, Faye has attended a world class culinary arts school to become a professional chef. Then, he has worked in well-respected kitchens under the tutelage of experienced chefs. After working through the various kitchen stations, he qualified for a star for being among the best of the best.

During his four-day stay, apart from preparing world class meals for patrons, he also trained the hotel’s kitchen staff on modern cuisine and new food preparation methods.
